COMRADES MARATHON
The Comrades Marathon is the world's largest and oldest ultramarathon race. The distance of approximately 86 kilometres is run annually in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa between the cities of Durban and Pietermaritzburg.
The race will be run on Sunday, 9 June 2024 starting at 05h30 and finishing at 17h30 and is run from “gun to gun”. City Hall in Durban and finishing in Pietermaritzburg. The race distance is approximately 85,9km.

THE LITCHI FESTIVAL - SALT ROCK
The annual Litchi Festival is once again set to rock the spectacular Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Although the focus here is often on the sun, sea, and sand, this festival is all about fun and celebrating the fresh flavours of the delicious litchi fruit.
Entrance fee is R160 (cash only) per person, this includes eating as many as you can while picking and taking home1.6 kg Litchi’s.
Daily times are from 09h00 to 15h00. On 24th December from 09h00 to 12h00. We are closed on 25th December and bookings are required for the 26th December.

MIDMAR MILE
The Midmar Mile is he world's largest open water swim event, held annually at Midmar Dam, KZN, South Africa. Each year, it draws thousands of competitors, from serious international athletes and Olympic medallists to purely recreational swimmers. DUSI CANOE MARATHON
Every year, the world’s top canoeists and teams come together to tackle the exciting Dusi Canoe Marathon, which continues to be the biggest event of its kind in all of Africa. Although it is a major challenge, this marathon is still so popular amongst sportsmen and – women, as well as their fans. There are between 1 600 and 2 000 athletes participating in the event every year.
The finish of the race is held at the Kingfisher Canoe Club and the prize giving is at the Blue Lagoon to reward the men and women that conquered the three-day water adventure.

This event is about celebrating innovative designs and trendy developments in the world of design. Decorex Durban will be held at The Exhibition Centre, directly opposite the Durban International Convention Centre. This has a massive space with excellent facilities to make for a comfortable and exciting place to celebrate all things gorgeous. It is located in Durban Central, so it is close to a number of the other fantastic attractions that Durban has to offer visitors to KZN. DURBAN JULY HANDICAP
The Hollywoodbets Durban July Handicap is a South African Thoroughbred horse race held annually since 1897 at Greyville Racecourse in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Raced on turf, the Durban July Handicap is open to horses of all ages.
The first Saturday in July is dedicated to this prestigious event, which is so much more than sport – it is also a glamorous social get together and fashion spectacle.
